Joe this is beautiful :)

I find it interesting how your choice of colour palette and tones has changed a whole heckuva lot in this past year or so. Ex: Look at my senior pics. Fairly strongly based in medium, muted tones with a pretty good feel of yellow tinge.

I'm going to argue (and you can disagree if you choose), that your latest batch has definitely had a darker base, much more contrast, and not quite as clean cut lines.

You purposely doing this or is it just the natural progression of things?

It's sort of both; I sort of just haven't been posting much of my work from recent times on here, but the shift toward what I consider to be my style now definitely started quite a while ago. It's half conscious and half instinctual. There is for sure a decided trend toward darker tones, and less "sharpness" or clean cut lines like you notice; contrast is sometimes, sometimes not I think.

I think the way I tend to want my images to look nowadays is more like a memory or a dream; fuzzy, a little dark and unclear, but at the same time vivid and powerful and moving and connecting. Maybe not even a memory but an imaginary scene... :)

Thank you so much!
